Potter Township Planning Commission

 

June 7, 2011

 

 

Members Present:  Mike Troyan, Karl Eysenbach, Dick Decker, Ron Grove, Paul Sampsell, Pam Winter

 

Member Absent:  Melvin Dutrow

 

Call to Order:  Chairman Ron Grove called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

 

Approval of Minutes:  The minutes of May 24, 2011 were approved on motion by Paul Sampsell and second by Karl Eysenbach.  Motion carried.

 

Citizens Concerns:  None.

 

Zoning Officer’s Report:  Zoning Officer Jeff McClellan noted the Codification Portfolio was available for review.  He distributed the building permit report and also mentioned he has received numerous calls complaining about chickens, rooster and dogs owned by an individual on Cottontail Lane from a resident in Ashford Manor.  Discussion followed on solutions to the problem.  After lengthy discussion, it was decided the individual should contact animal control.

 

Supervisor’s Report:  Dick Decker noted no report.  Paul Sampsell asked if the road crew was trimming brush that it was difficult to pass on some area Colyer roads.  Dick will speak to the road foreman.

 

Correspondence: 

 

1.       Possible subdividing parcel of land at 271 Old Fort Road, pending HOP permit.

 

Old Business:  Wells and boreholes will be discussed at the next work session.

 

New Business:  None.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 p.m. on motion by Mike Troyan and second by Dick Decker.
