April 6, 2010
Members Present: Dick Decker, Pam Winter, Ron Grove, Karl Eysenbach, Lynda Powell
Member Absent: Kevin Daniels, Paul Sampsel
Call to Order: Chairman Ron Grove called to meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Approval of Minutes: The minutes of March 2, 2010 were approved on motion by Pam Winter and second by Dick Decker. Motion carried.
The minutes of March 23, 2010 were approved on motion by Karl Eysenbach and second by Pam Winter. Motion carried.
Citizens Concerns: In the absence of this surveyor, Matthew Spigelmyer presented Planning Module, Component 2 for signature. It was noted the plan was lacking the signature of the SEO. Mr. Spigelmyer will present at the next meeting.
Mark Torretti, Penn Terra Engineering presented the minor subdivision of the State College Baseball Club property which will create two lots. Lynda Powell moved for the Planning Commission to sign the minor subdivision Component 4A and second by Pam Winter. Motion carried. Chairman Grove completed.
Zoning Officer’s Report: Zoning Officer’s report was distributed.
Supervisors Report: Dick Decker reported meeting is scheduled on April 15, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at the Centre County Planning Office in the Willowbank Building about Mountainview Estates. The developer is going to present proposed changes from the original plan. He also noted the supervisors wanted to know if the Planning Commission thought the Spring Creek wells and boreheads should be researched more. The re-codification of the zoning book should be a high priority.

Old Business:
Chairman Grove will check with Harry Burd inquiring if there is a state building code for outdoor furnaces.
New Business:
Chairman Grove noted a letter should be sent to Kevin Daniels due to his lack of attendance at meetings. The township secretary will send a letter and the Planning Commission will submit a name to the supervisors for appointment.
Pam Winter noted the holding tanks and alarm are in. They will moving ahead with the sand mound as weather permits.
Dick Decker discussed the property purchased by the three municipalities and the processes involved.
Lynda Powell discussed the Grange Fair exhibit and everything is progressing. She hopes to have a draft in June.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m. on motion by Karl Eysenbach and second by Dick Decker.
