PLANNING COMMISSION

WORK SESSION OF MARCH 23, 2010

124 Short Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875

Members Present: Chairman Ron Grove, Pamela Winter, H. Paul Sampsell, Lynda Powell, Dick Decker and Karl Eysenbach. Kevin Daniels was absent.

At 8:55 P.M. Chairman Grove presented correspondence:

· CCPCDO File 202-09 Final plan for Donald & Janet Dutrow, replot of tracts 1-4 into tracts 1R & 2R);

· DEP Sewage Planning Module for tax parcel 20-8-5E, State College Baseball Club

· CCPCDO File 209-10 Final plan for State College Baseball Club-re-subdivision of Lot 2 into 2A & 2B tax parcel 20-8-5E.

The Planning Module for the Baseball Club was tabled until next meeting so PennTerra could attend to answer questions.

After further discussion on the model ordinance of wells and boreholes, Mr. Eysenbach made a motion to review the revised ordinance until the next meeting and discuss further at that time, seconded by Mr. Decker, motion carried.

For the Supervisors Report, Tom Sharer commented on:

· the model ordinance for the watershed

· S & A’s Mountain View Estates issues

· the status of the new wastewater treatment plant at Country Club Park

· the Township’s budget is fairly healthy, but includes a good carry-over which may not always be there

Adjournment

At 9:30 P.M. Mr. Eysenbach made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Ms. Winter, motion carried; adjourned.
