Potter Township Planning Commission
September 22, 2009
Members Present: Dick Decker, Pam Winter, Ron Grove, Kevin Daniels, Lynda Powell, Karl Eysenbach, Paul Sampsell

Call to Order: Chairman Dick Decker called to meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Approval of Minutes: The minutes of September 8, 2009 meeting were approved as presented on motion by Ron Grove and second by Lynda Powell. Motion carried.
Citizens Concerns: None
Zoning Officer’s Report: Zoning officer’s report was distributed at the last meeting. Jeff McClellan commented on a complaint he received concerning the weeds on the Chamberlain tract. Since the township does not have any ordinances about weeds there is nothing he can enact upon.
Supervisors Report: Chairman Decker noted the supervisors are working on the budget.

1. Centre County Planning & Community Development Office, September 9. 2009, RE: Time Extension Request Final Plan Smith Pletcher Home Association, Inc. Old Fort Park & Ride, CCPCDO File No: 244-07.
Old Business:
Continue working on the list of issues. The zoning officer will provide copies of what is now recommended for parking spaces at businesses. He will also retrieve sign ordinance information from other municipalities for the group to review. Another area to be revisited is the accessory heights for all districts.
Discussion followed on the exhibit at the fair receiving positive comments. A “user friendly” brochure to include frequently asked questions was suggested to include for next year.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m. on motion by Kevin Daniels and second by Paul Sampsell.
