Potter Township Planning Commission
June 2, 2009

Call to Order: Chairman Dick Decker called to meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Approval of Minutes:
Citizens Concerns: None
Zoning Officers’ Report: No questions about the May 2009 report.
Supervisors Report: Chair Decker reminded all of the public hearing of the On Lot Sewage Management Plan at the Centre Hall Lions Club on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

New Business:
Chairman Decker distributed some copies of the Wind Energy Planning Manual for review. A copy is also in the township secretary’s office.
PAGW – PA Ground Water Summer Conference will be held at the Ag Progress Days facility in Rock Springs on Friday, June 12, 2009 focusing on the geothermal process.
Chairman Decker noted he has a table reserved for Potter Township at the fair and asked the members to bring ideas to the next meeting as to what information should be presented. Suggestions at this time were: subdivision information, on lot sewage, zoning district maps and old photos.
Jeff McClellan discussed Ordinance 2 of 2006. He would like to change this to 150 sq. ft. and below on skids would be exempt from the on lot inspection for the SEO and building officer. Chairman Decker asked him to bring a draft of the changes to the next meeting. Chairman Decker inquired if there could be exceptions for agricultural accessory buildings.
A motion by Ron Grove and second by Paul Sampsell to adjourn the meeting at 7:55 p.m.
