Potter Township Planning Commission

 

May 5, 2009

 

 

Members Present:  Dick Decker, Pam Winter, Karl Eysenbach, Lynda Powell, Kevin Daniels, Ron Grove

 

Member Absent:  Paul Sampsell

 

Call to Order:  The meeting was called to order at 7:07 p.m. by Chairman Dick Decker.

 

Approval of Minutes:  A motion was made by Kevin Daniels and second by Lynda Powell to approve the minutes of April 28, 2009 as presented.  Motion carried.

 

Citizens Concerns:  None.

 

Zoning Officer’s Report:  No new homes, all additions and sheds.  Discussed the meeting today on the Homan subdivision.

 

Supervisor’s Report:  Chairman Decker mentioned they discussed the Country Club sewage issue, the voting on the park ground, opened bids for paving and Ordinance 2 of 2006 for the 150 sq. ft. for sheds.

 

Correspondence: 

 

1.      April 27, 2009 – Centre County Planning & Community Development Office, RE:  Time Extension – Final Subdivision Plan of Four Lot Subdivision for Agnes E. Homan (minor subdivision), CCPCDO File No:  36-07.

 

Old Business:  Pam Winter noted that she is developing a database, not a spreadsheet to store the On Lot Sewage Management Records.  Discussion followed on the possibility of the database being expanded to include other pertinent township information.  The public hearing date for the On Lot Sewage Management Ordinance under consideration is June 4, 2009 at the Centre Hall Lions Club.

 

Lynda Powell received information from Noah and the zoning officer will copy the small wind turbine articles for distribution to the commission.  She is continuing her review of the definitions.

 

A motion by Ron Grove and second by Kevin Daniels to adjourn the meeting at 8:01 p.m.
