Potter Township Planning Commission

 

October 28, 2008

 

 

Members Present:  Dick Decker, Pam Winter, Ron Grove, Karl Eysenbach

 

Members Absent:  Ron Sweitzer, Mark Fortney, Monty Strouse

 

Call to Order:  The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Dick Decker.

 

Approval of Minutes:  With no corrections noted, Chairman Decker approved the minutes as presented.

 

Zoning Officer’s Report:  No comments about the submitted report.

 

Supervisor’s Report:  The supervisors are currently working on budgets and the Ishler subdivision was discussed.

1.      CCPCDO Re:  Notice of Receipt and Declaration of Intent, Minor Subdivision Plan, Final Plan – Ishler Subdivision – 5 Lot Subdivision of Lands of John V. and Evalene Ishler, CCPCDO File No:  208-08.

2.      CCPCDO Re:  Notice of receipt and Declaration of Intent, Minor Subdivision Plan, Final Subdivision Plan Lot 3 of previously Subdivided Lands of Grace I & Gary N. Homan into Lots 3R1 and 3R2 for Old Fort Country Meats, CCPCDO File No:  217-08.

3.      CCPCDO Re:  Notice To All Concerned, Review of Final Subdivision Plan, 5 Lot Subdivision of Lands of John V. and Evalene Ishler, CCPCDO File No:  208-08.

Chairman Decker noted no action was taken by the supervisors concerning the Ishler subdivision letter from the zoning officer.  The supervisors are waiting for comments from county.

The Grieb, Markle & Dunkle subdivision change will consist of the owners modifying the west property boundary of Tax Parcel 20-5-39C to provide an adequate access width.

 

Old Business:

 

SEO Chuck Herr has not received information from DEP concerning the On-Lot Sewage Ordinance.

 

Chairman Decker presented information about a “Wind Energy Symposium” to be held at Penn State on November 17 & 18. 2008.  Both residential and wind farms are included in the symposium.  The supervisors have agreed to fund the registration fee for three Potter Township Representatives to attend.  Chairman Decker noted he will be attending and the others are to inform him of their intent.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m. on motion by Ron Grove and second by Pam Winter.
