Potter Township Planning Commission

 

September 30, 2008

 

 

Members Present:  Dick Decker, Pam Winter, Karl Eysenbach, Ron Grove

 

Members Absent:  Ron Sweitzer, Mark Fortney, Monty Strouse

 

Call to Order:  The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Dick Decker.

 

Approval of Minutes:  A motion was made by Pam Winter and second by Ron Grove to approve the minutes as submitted.  Motion carried.

 

Zoning Officer’s Report:  No comments.

 

Supervisor’s Report:  The supervisors had not met since the Planning Commission’s last meeting.

 

Correspondence: 

 

1.      CCPCDO Re:  September 17, 2008 Time Extension Request, Final Plan of Mountainview Estates Subdivision, Phase I (as revised) CCPCDO File No:  158-06

2.      CCPCDO Re:  September 22, 2008 Time Extension Request, Final Plan – 2 Lot Subdivision of Lands of R. Douglas & Belinda G. Rimmey (Minor Subdivision) CCPCDO File No:  265-07

3.      CCPCDO RE:  September 29, 2008 Final Plan Ishler Subdivision – 5 Lot Subdivision of Lands of John V. & Evalene C. Ishler, CCPCDO File No:  208-08

 

Karl Eysenbach inquired about the one acre lot size.  Chairman Decker read the sliding scale for lot sizes in Prime Ag.  The Planning Commission discussed the need for a note on the Park and Recreation fee and a Zoning Officer Sign-Off Block but did not have any other comments at present.  The will wait for comments from the county.

 

Old Business: 

 

Nothing new on the sewage ordinance and the septic map update.

 

Chairman Decker distributed sample ordinances for wind farms.  He will check with the supervisors as to what they would like the Planning Commission to do.

 

New Business:

 

None.

 

The meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m. on motion by Ron Grove and second by Karl Eysenbach.
