Work Session

Members Present:  Dick Decker, Pam Winter, Ron Grove, Karl Eysenbach, Mark Fortney

 

Members Absent:  Ron Sweitzer, Monty Strouse

 

Call to Order:  The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Dick Decker.

 

Approval of Minutes:  A motion by Mark Fortney and second by Pam Winter to approve the minutes as submitted.  Motion carried.

 

Zoning Officer’s Report:  None

 

Supervisor’s Report:  None

 

Correspondence:

Old Business:  Mark Fortney presented the revised draft of the sewage ordinance for review and comments.  He separated the inspection and pumping sections which will make it easier for retrieval.  Mark Fortney made corrections to the document as it was discussed.  Ron Grove made a motion to pass the ordinance to the supervisors for their approval and second by Pam Winter.  Motion carried.

 

The exhibit at the fair was discussed and everything is ready.

 

Chairman Decker contacted Rick Day’s office concerning the demonstration of Septic Map Sewage Tracking and Management Information System.  Due to unforeseen circumstances this will take place at a later time.  Chairman Decker will arrange with Rick Day.

 

Pam Winter will again contact the county to inquire about the septic tank location map.

 

Chairman Decker will contact the zoning officer to attend the meeting on August 5, 2008 to discuss duplexes.

 

New Business:  The Planning Commission has 35 days to review the Old Fort Park and Ride plan and to make comments.  Suggested were:  lighting at the entrance to the lot and more lighting to the back by the livestock sale barn, shielded lighting, sidewalk for pedestrian to access from Rt. 144 and a bike rack. 

 

The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m. on motion by Karl Eysenbach and second by Mark Fortney.
