Planning Commission Meeting

February 5, 2008

 

Members Present:     Monte Strouse, Ron Sweitzer, Pam Winter, Karl Eysenbach, Dick Decker, & Ron Grove

 

Absent:  Mark Fortney

 

            Meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. by Dick Decker.

 

            Minutes from last meeting were read, motion to approve by Karl Eysenbach, and seconded by Ron Sweitzer, and approved.

 

Zoning Officer’s Report:  Couple Permits were issued.  Zoning Officer is updating the ordinance book.

 

Supervisor’s Report:  Supervisors are going to refer the request for zoning change for Jake Tannis and John Cole back to the Planning Commission.  There will be a public hearing for the requested zoning change for the #1 Cycle Shop’s request for the 22 cottages on the currently zoned PCI property.

Old Business:

            Dave Henning funding information for on lot systems.  The Planning Commission may review the finalized plan given by the Supervisors. 

The Prime Ag rezoning issue, there will be a public meeting on February 26, 2008, to hear citizens concerns.

PCI area extensions (Cole/Tannis) was discussed with the Prime Ag issue.

 

New Business:

            Linda Powell presented information received from Sheetz on design changes available for the Smith/Pletcher subdivision.  If the designs are unsatisfactory to the Potter Township Citizens Committee, they may have a PSU grad student draw up other possibilities and present them to Sheetz. 

 

            Meeting adjourned at 7:30.  Motion made by Monte Strouse and seconded by Ron Sweitzer.
