Planning Commission
March 6, 2007,
Meeting
Members
Present: Rod
Humphrey, Monty Strouse, Dick Decker, Jake Tanis, and Lucy Curran.
Members Absent:
Dave Henning and Mark Fortney.
Call to Order:
Meeting called to order at 7:04 PM by Chairman, Rod Humphrey.
Approval of
Minutes: A motion was made by Rod Humphrey and
seconded by Jake Tanis approve the minutes from the February 27, 2007,
meeting. All members present voted in
favor to approve the minutes.
Zoning
Officer’s Report: None.
Supervisor’s
Report: The Supervisor’s will meet Thursday to
present a one-year renewable contract to prospective replacement Zoning
Officer.
Correspondence:
None
Old Business:
Dick Decker made suggestion to the Supervisors at that night’s meeting
that the weed control issue should be presented to the public in the next
newsletter.
New Business:

Rod Humphrey expressed concern that non-permitted
construction may be happening in the Township due to the absence of a Zoning
Officer.

A revised Sewage Ordinance was presented for the
Commission’s review. The Ordinance
follows guidelines that are already in place in Potters Mills. The Committee members were asked to review
the proposed Ordinance in detail and present their comments at the March 27,
2007, meeting.
The meeting was adjourned
at 8:02 PM by motion made by Dick Decker and seconded by Jake Tanis.
