Potter Township Planning Commission

August 1, 2006 Meeting

 

Members

Present: Rod Humphrey, Monty Strouse, Dick Decker, Dave Henning, Lucy Curran.

Absent:  Jacob Tannis and Mark Fortney.

Call To Order:

Meeting called to order at 7:04 PM by Chairman Rod Humphrey.

Approval of Minutes:  Motion by Monty Strouse and a second by Rod Humphrey to approve the minutes. All members present voted in favor.

Zoning Officers Report: No report.

Supervisors Report: Nothing to report

Correspondence was shared and reviewed by the committee including the follows:

  • Letter from Franson Engineering & Surveying Re: Review Comments on the Final Plan for Mountainview Estates Phase 1. CCPC File No. 100-4.
  • Letter from Centre County Planning Office, RE: Minor Subdivision Plan for Carl Smith etc. CCPC File No. 178-06.

Old Business: None

New Business: 

  • Reviewed and approved on a motion by Monty Strouse and second by Lucy Curran a Sewage Facilities Planning Module for Carl Smith etc. minor subdivision. CCPC File No. 178-06 Signed by chairman Rod Humphrey.
  • Reviewed and approved on a motion by Dave Henning and second by Dick Decker a Sewage Facilities Planning Module for Robert A. and Lynne Hultquest minor subdivision into Lots 6R and 7. Tax Parcel 20-6-41H. It was signed by chairman Rod Humphrey.
  • Reviewed a Final Plan for E.J and Rebecca Oelbermann , Tax Parcel 25-5-15, Most of which is in Harris Township with no comments. Planning commission recommends that the Potter Township write a letter to Harris Township indicating that there were no comments.
  • Reviewed and approved on a motion by Lucy Curran and a second by Dave Henning a Sewage Facilities Planning Module for Mahaffy Minor Subdivision, Tax Parcel 20-6-116. Signed by chairman Rod Humphrey.  Since most of the parent track and original set of buildings are in Gregg Township, it was assumed  that Gregg Township will be requiring a backup site will be tested on the parent track for sewage disposal. None was identified on the submitted drawings.
