Potter Township Planning Commission

July 25, 2006 Meeting

 

Members

  Present: Rod Humphrey, Monty Strouse, Dick Decker, Jacob Tannis.

  Absent:  Dave Henning, Lucy Curran, and Mark Fortney.

Call To Order:

Meeting called to order at 7:20 PM by Chairman Rod Humphrey.

Approval of Minutes:  Motion by Monty Strouse and a second by Rod Humphrey to approve the minutes. All members present voted in favor.

Zoning Officers Report: None

Supervisors Report: Nothing to report

Correspondence was shared and reviewed by the committee including the follows:

  • Letter from Centre County Planning Office, RE: Tee J. Enterprises, LLC “Dollar General Store” stating that the Planning Office was not willing to remove “sidewalk requirements”. CCPC File No. 68-06.
  • Letter from Centre County Planning Office, RE: 4th Time Extension request for Preliminary Plan of Sinking Creek Subdivision. CCPC File No. 144-05.
  • Letter from Centre County Planning Office, RE: Minor Land Development Proposal for placement of a second residence on lands of David C. And Holly V. Sterner, Tax Parcel No. 20-6/7. CCPC File No. 176-06.
  • Letter from Centre County Planning Office, RE: Notice to Municipality of Receipt of Mountainview Estates subdivision – Phase 1 Subdivision Plan. CCPCDO File No. 158-06 (Plan dated 6/8/06 for 31 Lots)
  • Letter from Franson Engineering & Surveying Re: Review Comments on the Storm Water Management for Mountainview Estates.

  • Jacob Tannis reported on discussions at a recent Penns Valley Comprehensive planning Meeting concerning wind power generation.
