June 27, 2006 Meeting

 

Members

  Present: Rod Humphrey, Monty Strouse, Dick Decker, Jacob Tannis, Dave Henning, Lucy Curran, and Mark Fortney

  Absent: None

Call To Order:

Meeting called to order at 7:05 PM by Chairman Rod Humphrey.

Approval of Minutes:  Motion by Lucy Curran and a second by Monty Strouse to approve the minutes for the June 6, 2006 meeting. All members present voted in favor as submitted.

Zoning Officers Report: None

Supervisors Report: Nothing to report

Correspondence was shared and reviewed by the committee including the follows:

  • Letter from Centre County Planning Office, RE: Non-Substantive Change Request to Conditional Approval of Dollar General Store Land development Plan-CCPCDO  File No. 144-05.
  • Letter from Centre County Planning Office, RE: Time extension Request – Preliminary Plan of Mountainview Estates Subdivision- CCPC File No. 100-04.
  • Letter from Centre County Planning Office, RE: Time Extension Request – Final Plan of Designers Studio Land Development, CCPC File No. 279-05
  • Letter from Centre County Planning Office, RE: Subdivision Plan  Final Land Disposition/ Subdivision Plan of Centre County Pomona Grange No. 13 Lot 1 into Lot 1R and Lot 2 for Michael F. & Yolanda F. Dillard. CCPCDO  File No. 261-04.

Old Business: None

New Business: 

 

  1. Sewage Planning Module for Minor Subdivision for David C. and Holly V. Sterner – Tax Parcel 20-6-7 was reviewed and signed. Needed because of construction of a second dwelling of approximately 4200 sq ft.
  2. John Sepp of S&A Homes presented a final plan for Mountainview Subdivision   Final Plan for signatures of the Planning Commission. It was checked for completeness and signed.
  3.  Reviewed preliminary arrangement drawing for conditional use of Andy Freeman – Tax Parcel 25-5-40B – for a Storage and Terminal area without any retail (Swan) – Motion made by Mark Fortney with a second by Jake Tannis to approve the conditional use. It was approved unanimously.
  4. Stan Wallace of Nittany Engineering presented an introductory plan for a conditional use of Tax Parcel 20-5-40D for a Clem’s Bar-B Q. Discussion followed on, air pollution (smoke), highway access, location/separation of wood storage, need for permanent structures and the removal of an existing dwelling from the site.

 

Meeting adjourned at 8:10 PM. Motion by Rod Humphrey and second by Monty Strouse, followed by a work session.
