 Minutes of Planning Commission meeting of 10/04/05

 

 

Present: Brooks Harris, Mark Fortney, Jake Tanis, Rod Humphrey and Dave Henning

Absent: Monty Strouse

 

Meeting called to order 7:30 PM

 

Minutes from previous meeting (9/6/05) read and approved to be posted

 

Citizens Concerns: None present

 

No Zoning Officers report

 

Subdivision: Sinking Creek Subdivision (Stan Wallace, Nittany Engineering) stated the Traffic Study was completed, and submitted to the Township Engineer, and Joe Litke and Cassleberry is going hydrogeologic Study at this time.  Since the commission was not presented evidence of the completed Traffic Study or the hydrogeologic study, Mark Fortney motioned that we table the plan until such was presented; 2nded by Dave Henning, motion passed without descent.

 

Minor Subdivision proposed for Jake Tannis via Brooks Harris, ELA Group.  Jake and Brooks excused themselves from Voting on the proposed subdivision, and it was tabled until a non-involved quorum could be present.

 

Correspondence: 1) re: Sinking Creek Subdivision 9/14/05 Forwarded letter of Concern from Anson Burwell, Centre Co Planning officer 2) Sylvestor Gallagher PreSubmission & review Planning module 3) S&A Custom Builders (Granted time extension of 90 days from Centre Co Planning Office on proposed pending development 4) SC Baseball Club given 90 day time extension.

 

Dave Henning led a discussion about PennsValley Comprehensive Plan meeting on 10/24/05 at Penns Valley High School, urged members of Planning Commission to be present, as a  quorum for voting on accepting the new PennsValley Comprehensive Plan is required.
