BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

MEETING OF JUNE 4, 2009

A Public Hearing of the Potter Township Board of Supervisors was held on Thursday,

June 4, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Centre Hall Lions Club, 153 E. Church Street, Centre Hall, PA. The Public Hearing was held to hear public comment on a consolidation of existing sewage ordinances, holding tanks and privies, and community on-lot sewage disposal systems and a proposed sewage management program. Supervisors Tom Sharer, Jake Tanis, III, Bob Corman, Dick Decker and Ron Sweitzer attended. Sewage Enforcement Officers Charles Herr and Pamela Winter, Zoning Officer Jeff McClellan, Solicitor Robert Rayman and Secretary Brenda Burd attended.

At 7:02 P.M. Chairman Sharer called the meeting to order after which he opened the Public Hearing.

The Public Hearing was closed and Chairman Sharer reconvened the meeting. Dick made a motion to table making a decision on the Ordinance until the Supervisor’s meeting of July 6, 2009, seconded by Jake. Discussion followed with Bob C. commenting the vote on the Ordinance should have taken place tonight (6/4), and commented that tonight was the public hearing and on 7/6 they should only vote, not have open discussion of the Ordinance again. Tom commented that the public could communicate their comments to the Board thru our web site. Tom called for the vote to table the decision until 7/6/09, motion carried with Dick, Jake, Tom and Ron voting aye, and Bob voting nay.

Adjournment

At 9:10 P.M. Chairman Sharer adjourned the meeting.
