the Potter Township Board of Supervisors was held on Monday,

They discussed the reconciliation
of funds withdrawn to pay for the Penn State Farm and the $8,592.28 over
withdrawn and where they want to put this excess. Bob made a motion to purchase a new CD
designated “General Fund” for $8,592.28, seconded by Rich, motion carried unanimously.
· Asked if hunting will be permitted in the Township
woods again this year. Yes.
· Reported that Greg, with CATA, called to announce a
meeting on Park and Ride on Monday, August 13 at
· Reported my first ‘secretary’s’ monthly meeting will
be held Tuesday, August 14 at
· Announced Centre County Solid Waste Authority’s
“Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event” which is free and I posted flyers.

Tax parcel # -
Sandra is putting parcel #’s on Secretary’s Subdivision files and making a
cross reference list.

Sewage Ordinance
– Has been revised and Budd distributed it.
The Board said to send a copy to Chuck Herr, to put it on the September
10th meeting agenda and invite Chuck.

Update zoning map
– Monty said they are working on it and getting close to a recommendation.

Health Insurance
–The CCATO query response was distributed and discussed. They need to determine apportionment and Rod
gave them some advice. Asked Brenda to
provide the current and projected rates at 10%.
New Business

Paul Zerby’s
letter of resignation from the Board of Supervisors due to moving from the
Township effective
Open Discussion and Citizens Concerns

Mel Sammis’
letter regarding a boundary dispute is

Mrs. Whalen read
a letter regarding her driveway issue with a turning lane to be put in at that
intersection. Tom referred her to
Nittany Engineering.
·
The zoning-sewage
resolution the Board adopted was discussed.
Zoning permits have been issued without SEO inspections. Bob made a motion for Chuck Herr to review
all zoning permits issued back to the time the Resolution was passed to coordinate
the permits, seconded by Monty, motion
carried unanimously. Tom will
contact Rick and Chuck about coordinating this effort.
