SEPTEMBER 18, 2006

BUDGET WORK SESSION

A 2007 budget work session was held September 18, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. at the Township Building, 124 Short Road, Spring Mills, PA with Supervisors Tom Sharer, Bob Corman, Richard Poorman, Monty Strouse and Paul Zerby present. Also attending were Secretary Brenda Burd and Road Superintendent Budd Brooks.

Each line item of the budget was discussed with many line items left blank until a health insurance decision is made or until the Board can agree on some of the items. Brenda was asked to tell Daryl Schafer they hope he will have the insurance information by the October 2^nd meeting.

They discussed CD rates and the possibility of taking permit handling from Brenda as being time consuming and costly.

Tom suggested Brenda have prior year ending figures for the Board. Tom commented generally on resolutions for purchasing new CDs.
