At 7:00 P.M. Chairman Sharer opened the meeting by asking everyone to stand and pledge allegiance to the flag after which he called the meeting to order.  Tom announced they are trying to keep the first meeting of the month as brief as possible to allow time to work on work session items.

Business to be brought before the Board:

  • Mel Sammis commented the Sinking Creek 30-day comment period will end June 6th and asked to read a portion of her comment letter.  She also read a letter she wrote to the CDT Editor on water quality and quantity and the effects of Sinking Creek Subdivision.

Subdivisions

  • Stan Wallace advised the Board he has made application for conditional use for two clients on Route 45.  They both are conditional use for the commercial district, but that’s not the primary use.  Stan has talked with PennDOT.  Jeff has the applications and will discuss with the Board at next meeting (June 12).

At 8:45 P.M. Chairman Sharer closed the work session and reconvened the regular meeting.

The Board discussed whether Brenda’s attendance at the first meeting of the month is necessary and decided she should continue attending.

Mark Ralston attended as a citizen but relayed the message that the CHPSA wants to work with the Township on the CCP WWTP but the way it’s designed now they do not want to take it over.  They wanted to be involved with the drawings and approvals throughout the process but instead have been given final information.  Further discussion will follow.
