BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
MEETING OF
The first monthly meeting of
the Potter Township Board of Supervisors was held on Monday, June 6, 2005 at
7:00 P.M. at the Township Building, 124 Short Road, Spring Mills, PA with
Supervisors Paul Zerby, Monty Strouse, Bob Corman, Richard Poorman and Tom
Sharer present. Also attending were

Long, Rick Hampton, Sandra Rishel, Alan Decker, Mike Clitherow, and Mr. and
Mrs. John Dutrow.
Chairman Zerby called the
meeting to order at

Brian said he
really had nothing to report and asked if there were any questions. Paul asked how the Committee is coming. Brian said they are working on it and set a
goal of September 12.
Secretary’s Report

Presented Municipal
Response Request for Paul and Janet Zerby Minor Subdivision. After review and discussion, Tom made the
motion “we have no comment”, seconded by Bob C. at which point Paul asked Monty,
the Vice Chair, to call for the vote. Monty
called for the vote, with Bob C., Monty, Rich and Tom all voting in favor of no
comment. The motion carried. Paul abstained.

Budd distributed
the riff raff collection costs.

Budd and Don
Franson reviewed the road standards. The
proposed changes were distributed to the Planning Commission May 24th and to
the Board, Jeff and Bob R. tonight (June 6).
Budd asked if it is possible to eliminate cul de sacs which make snow
removal more difficult and more costly.
Discussion followed.

The CCP grant is
extended and a kick-off meeting will be held this Wednesday, June 8th with
Budd, Bob R., the Meadows, 2-Supervisors and 2-Larson Design Group members.

Tom asked if
there has been feed-back from the Cedar Run Developer. Bob R. wrote a letter informing the developer
there will be no capacity available for the development.

Jeff informed the
Board that Mahaffy’s DEP submission was rejected.
At

Paul
made a motion to accept the Cooperative Agreement with Centre Hall-Potter Sewer
Authority, seconded by Monty, motion carried unanimously. Agreement was signed. Secretary was instructed to send the signed
agreement to the sewer authority for their signatures.
The
Board was asked if there should be Amusement Tax paid to the Township for the
Shaner complex. Bob R. will check the
Amusement Tax regulations.
