Discussion followed regarding hiring a Code Enforcement Officer and delineating job descriptions for Code Enforcement and Zoning.

Mark Ralston presented a preliminary report on the water study he conducted.
Secretary

Asked
approval of mileage reimbursement rate for 2004 at $0.375 per mile as set forth
by the Internal Revenue Service. Tom
made the motion, seconded by Bob C. to approve $0.375 per mile reimbursement
for 2004. Motion carried unanimously.

Presented
a thank you letter addressed to Amy Grove for the Supervisors to sign.

Handed
out copies of PSATS annual convention registration form.
·
Presented
Municipal Response Request for the Anne VanderVelden Subdivision. Tom made a motion no comment, seconded by
Rich, motion carried unanimously and the request was signed.
There was discussion
on Mr. Campbells request for a letter from the Supervisors regarding a PA DOT
Highway Occupancy Permit for his driveway on

Bob C.
reported that because of the lack of funds flowing from the Commonwealth, the
County probably will not purchase any farms in 2004.

Tom
shared a couple lines from the Nittany Valley Comprehensive Plan on how the
region should possibly view agriculture land.
