BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2003

 

The first monthly meeting of the Potter Township Board of Supervisors was held on Monday, September 1, 2003 in Township Building #2 with Supervisors Paul Zerby, Monty Strouse, Bob Corman, Richard Poorman and Tom Sharer present.  Also attending were Road Superintendent Budd Brooks, and Secretary Brenda Burd.

 

Chairman Zerby called the meeting to order at 6:59 P.M.

 

Minutes of the August 11, 2003 meeting were approved as presented on a motion by Bob C. and seconded by Monty.  Motion carried unanimously.  

 

Citizens Concerns – none.

 

At 7:03 P.M. Chairman Zerby recessed the regular meeting and opened the Public Hearing for the proposed Ordinance establishing weight limits on certain Township Roads.  The Public Hearing was closed at 7:09 P.M. and the regular monthly meeting was reopened.

 

Open Discussion

·        Ann Glaser asked if the Board has responded to the transportation questionnaire.  She was advised that response will be completed at September 1 Work Session.  Ann suggested that the Board use some of the SCCCTS highway improvement suggestions which she provided.

 

Adjourn

·        At 7:18 P.M. Chairman Zerby adjourned the regular meeting.
