The second meeting of the Potter Township Board of
Supervisors was held
•The meeting was called to order
•On a motion by Bob C., seconded by Paul, we accept the financial report and the minutes with the following corrections. Under Open Discussion, “Allan Darr was serving on 2 committees when he was Supervisor”. Under Reorganization Sec/Treasurer, “Bob C. made a motion to appoint Edna Lou Cole as Sec/Treasurer until we hire someone. We should advertise this position”. Vote carried unanimously.
•On a motion by Paul, seconded by Rich, we appoint Budd Brooks as temporary secretary, due to personal reasons Lou Cole is not able to take the position. Vote carried unanimously.
•CITIZENS CONCERNS –
There were no concerns.
•PLANNING COMMISION
REPORT – Tom gave the report. Linn Auman presented planning modules for the

Barb Coopey,
Bob Rayman, Monty Strouse and Jeff McClellan, will meet on Wednesday, January 16, to discuss Ag district ordinance
changes.
Allen Darr and Tom Sharer had concerns on the procedure for appointing planning commission members. The next time a position comes open on planning commission, interviews will be open to planning commission and supervisors.
•ZONING OFFICER REPORT – Jeff gave his report at last Monday’s meeting.
•SUBDIVSIONS-Linn
Auman from Penn Terra presented a planning module for Yost subdivision and #1
On a motion by
Bob C., seconded by Tom, we accept and sign the planning module for #1
•OLD BUSINESS – Solicitor’s report – John Yost filed for bankruptcy.
A couple of years ago we decided to prosecute people who didn’t file an earned income tax return. Statistics show this is working.
•ROAD SUPERINTENDENT REPORT - Presented paperwork to install flashing warning lights at the intersection of 322/144.
The newsletter needs to be printed and sent to Mary Briggs by February 15.
Budd needed approval to present a resolution at the next meeting to install speed limit signs.

•SECRETARY’S
REPORT – Documents presented for signatures was a letter to support the
C.R.M.P.O., a letter to Mark Shelow thanking him for serving on planning
commission and signature cards for bank accounts.
Carl Homan and Richard Barton are willing to stay on the Ag Security Review Board. Sam Grove has not returned our phone call yet. The supervisors gave a listing of names for the secretary to call and pick as many as needed to fill the vacant positions.
Amy Grove is on the planning commission and on the zoning hearing board as an alternate. We need to replace her on the zoning hearing board. On a motion by Bob C., seconded by Paul, we appoint Mike Clitherow to fill this vacancy. Vote carried unanimously.

discussion on a meeting with the farming community on
