Ready for Election Day?

October 19, 2020 is the last day to register to vote. For general election questions including how to register, check out

If you belong to Potter South Precinct 71 (find your registration status) you will vote at the Potter Township Building, 124 Short Road, Spring Mills (Off Old Fort Road). View Sample Ballot – Precinct 71

Live in another precinct? Find your Sample Ballot here.

Those who are elderly, and do not want to stand in line on Election Day, you can click here for the Satellite Election Office, which is in Bryce Jordan Center.  Schedule an appointment to come in, fill out a request for a mail in ballot and then fill in the mail in ballot right there and turn it in.  Appointments will be made available now until Election Day.

What to Expect at the Polls

No campaigning within 10 feet of the entrance of the polling location.

Do not discuss any political subjects inside the polling place.

Feel free to ask an election official for help.

When you approach the elections table, an Election Official will ask for your name and possibly address and date of birth. Voters who are voting for the first time in a polling place are still required under existing law to present a form of ID.

After determining you are eligible to vote, you will be asked to sign your name in the poll book. When doing this, check your address listing. If you address is incorrect, tell the Official, who will give you a Voter Registration Form (PDF). This form is used to change your address as well as to register to vote. You will still be able to vote.

After signing your name, follow the instructions given to you by the poll worker.

When you have finished voting, tear off the stub on the bottom of the ballot for your records and place your ballot in the ballot box. The poll worker will then give you an “I Voted” sticker.

Also remember…

  • Wearing a mask is recommended.
  • Stand at least 6 feet apart while in line.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available.

If you have a question that is not covered by the county’s election website or this page, contact Commissioner Michael Pipe.
