The pledge of allegiance was said before the start of the meeting.

 

The monthly meeting of the Centre Hall Fire Company was brought to order by President Jackie Muthersbaugh on Tuesday February 8, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.

 

Members Present were: Jack Muthersbaugh, Jackie Muthersbaugh, Brian Tice, Brian Long, Jon Ayers, Forrest Rishel, Domer Smeltzer, Kenny Strouse, Monty Strouse, Bill Rockey, Chad Packer, Toby Stoner, Rodney Brungart, Dave Keller, Ryan Sweitzer, JD Kubulak.

 

Secretary’s Report:

Motion to approve secretary’s report made by Bill Rockey, seconded by Rodney Brungart. Motion Carried.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

January’s ending balance should read, $55,221.91

 

Beginning Balance: 51,630.42                         Expenses:  Witmer Public  (Work Shirts)  1,084.30

Inflows:                     22,093.03                                            Northwest Bank- CD Purchased- 15,000

Outflows:                 -18,501.54               

Ending Balance:      55,221.91

Antique Apparatus: Jake Heverly, Don Pecht, Kenny Strouse.

Audit: Jack Muthersbaugh, Norma Crater, Kenny Strouse, Brian Long.

Banquet: Rodney Brungart, Ryan Sweitzer, Forrest Rishel, Doug Mansell, Domer Smeltzer, Jake Heverly.-Trophies are ordered.

Building/Property: Brian Long, Don Pecht, Kenny Strouse, Harry Hockenberry, Domer Smeltzer, Tim Packer and Monty Strouse.

Carnival:  Jack Mutherbaugh, Rodney Brungart, Jackie Muthersbaugh, Brian Long, Brian Tice, Phil Orndorf, Jake Heverly, Amanda Heverly.- Meeting February 16th at 6:30.

Elections Committee: Lester Gordon, Jake Heverly, Brian Tice.

Executive Committee: Kenny Strouse, Bill Rockey, Jack Muthersbaugh, Amanda Heverly, Chad Packer, Alvin Spotts and Monty Strouse.

Fire Fighter of the Year: President, 400 & 401.

Fire Tax/TWP Meeting: Brian Long, Kenny Strouse.

Fundraising: All in the Company.- Hoagie sale- March 10th.

Grants: Dave Keller and Toby Stoner.- still working on it.

Gun Raffle: Rodney Brungart- Chairman. Bryan Packer- Co Chairman. Will hand pick committee.

Insurance Investigation: Don Pecht, Dave Keller, Davis Araujo, Paul Young,

Interview: Executive Officers, Trustees.

Mailing for Donations: Toby Stoner, Chris Hockenberry, Jackie Muthersbaugh, and Chuck Solt. –still receiving donations.

Membership List: Jack Muthersbaugh, Brian Tice.-Dues are due.

5-10 year Plan: Executive Officers, Chiefs, Trustees and Fire Police.

 

Motion made by Brian Tice to have a hoagie sale March 10th, seconded by Rodney Brungart. Motion carried.

 

Old Business: Hall Rental- $100- non members

                                                  $25- members      

                    

Crew needed for stand by February 12th for Boalsburg Banquet.

 

New Business:  Mike Dixon suspended for 30 days.

                               4 new social members

                               3 thank you cards received- from Alvin Spotts, Hope Fund, Ladies Club ($100 donation)

 

Good of Company: March 19th- Hazmat Refresher. Fire police class- March 12-13 at Pleasant Gap.
