The pledge of allegiance was said before the start of the meeting.

 

The monthly meeting of the Centre Hall Fire Company was brought to order by President Kenny Strouse at 7:00 PM on Tuesday March 9, 2010.

 

Members Present were: Chad Packer, Philip Orndorf, Les Gordon, Dave Keller, Jack Muthersbaugh, Bill Rockey, Amanda Heverly, Rodney Brungart, Jake Heverly, Scott Koch, JD Kubalak, Domer Smeltzer, Alvin Spotts, Monty Strouse, Brian Tice, John Ayers, Mike Dixon, Dillion Murphy.

 

Secretary’s Report:

Motion to approve secretary’s report made by Brian Tice, seconded by Bill Rockey.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

February’s ending balance should read, $17,789.16

Fire Fighter of the Year: President, 400 & 401.

Fire Tax/TWP Meeting: Brian Long, Kenny Strouse.

Fundraising: All in the Company. - 500 hoagies were sold. Ham/Turkey sandwich sale- April 23rd.  Whistle stop is having a fundraiser for the firehall, if you eat dinner there on Saturday March 13th it will benefit the firehall.

Grants: Dave Keller and Toby Stoner. No response yet.

Gun Raffle: Harry Hockenberry, Rodney Brungart, (Chair) Bill Rockey, Bryan Packer, Bob Lair, Brian Tice and Steven Crater-  October 2nd. Met with Ed Noll. 20 prices will be given out. Motion to receive $1,000 for prices made by Rodney Brungart, seconded by Don Pecht. Motion Carried.

Insurance Investigation: Don Pecht, Dave Keller, Davis Araujo, Paul Young, Denny Foust.- Meeting February 16th with insurance company.

Interview: Executive Officers, Trustees.

Mailing for Donations: Chad Packer, Toby Stoner, Chris Hockenberry, Jackie Muthersbaugh, and Chuck Solt. –Working on it.

Membership List: Jack Muthersbaugh, Brian Tice. Sending letters to members.

5 K Fair Race: Chris Hockenberry, Brian Long, Domer Smeltzer.- Still working on it.

5-10 year Plan: Executive Officers, Chiefs, Trustees and Fire Police.

 

 

 

Motion made by Brian Tice to have a sandwich sale on April 23rd. Seconded by Les Gordon. Motion Carried

Motion made by Jackie Muthersbaugh to accept John Ayers as a probationary member. Vote unanimous.

Good of the Company:

 

Training at CPI for Hazmat 472 Class. March 18th-25th and April 10th.

 

Training at CPI for Bucks Recruit Class April 5th-June 27th. (94 Hours Long)

 

Received letter from Bellefonte Borough thanking for our assistance with the Cadillac Building Fire.

 

Boy Scout camp is staging point for apparatus.
