The pledge of allegiance was said before the start of the meeting.

 

The monthly meeting of the Centre Hall Fire Company was brought to order by President, Harry Hockenberry at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 14, 2009.

 

Members Present were:    Michelle Entz, Chad Entz, Jack Muthersbaugh, Harry Hockenberry, Gerald Korman, Brian Long, Jackie Muthersbaugh, Jake Heverly, Steven Crater, Rodney Brungart, Chad Packer, Davis Araujo, Jr. Orndorf Brian Tice, Kenny Strouse, Les Gordon and Monty Strouse.

 

Secretary’s Report:

Motion to approve secretary’s report made by Chad Entz, seconded by Jackie Muthersbaugh.  Motion Carried.

 Audit:  Jack Muthersbaugh, Norma Crater, Les Gordon, Brian Long.  08 will be done soon.

Fire Tax/TWPMeetings:   Brian Long, Chad Packer. 

5-10 year Plan:  Executive Officers, Chiefs, Trustees and Fire Police.

Building/Property: Brian Long, Don Pecht, Kenny Strouse, Harry Hockenberry, Domer Smeltzer, Tim Packer and Monty Strouse.

Interview:   Executive Officers, Trustees

Carnival:  Chad Packer, Chris Hockenberry, Jack Muthersbaugh, Rodney Brungart, Brandon Musser, Jackie Muthersbaugh and Brian Long.  Tickets need to get out.

Fundraising: All in the Company.

Hoagie sale Friday April 16-18th. 

Apparatus:  Chad Entz, Philip Orndorf, Ryan Hockenberry, Kenny Strouse, Rodney Brungart, Brian Long and Chris Hockenberry.  Currently in production.

Grants:    Dave Keller and Toby Stoner.  Will be attempting to secure.

Gun Raffle:  Harry Hockenberry, Rodney Brungart,(Chair) Bill Rockey, Bryan Packer, Bob Lair and Steven Crater.  1425 tickets currently out.

Fire Fighter of the Year: President, 400 & 401. 

Membership List:  Jack Muthersbaugh, Brian Tice.  In progress.

Elections Committee:  Ryan Hockenberry, Les Gordon and Jake Heverly.

Application for Membership: Bill Rockey, Les Gordon and Jackie Muthersbaugh.  In Progress.

New Business    

 

We need to appoint three people for new committee to work with Centre Hall Borough and Potter Township to amend the current tax agreement.  President Hockenberry appoints Kenny Strouse, Brian Long and Dave Keller.  Meeting will be held Tuesday April 21, 2009 at Station 4.

 

Voter Registration would like to rent Fire Hall on May 19, 2009 for elections.  Motion to allow made by Chad Entz, seconded by Rodney Brungart.  Motion Carried.

 

Motion to accept Ashley Corl as social member made by Chad Entz, seconded by Rodney Brungart.  Motion Carried.

 

Charles Solt voted in by majority vote as active probationary.

Paul Young voted in unanimously as active probationary.

Eric Colley voted in unanimously as active probationary.

 

There are a few interested parties looking into buying the old tanker.  Brian Long will look into fair market value.

 

 

 

Good of the Company

 

Building and Tax Committee will look into possible stimulus money for building.
