Monthly Meeting Minutes

The pledge of allegiance was said before the start of the meeting.

 

The monthly meeting of the Centre Hall Fire Company was brought to order by President Kenny Strouse at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 10, 2007.

 

Members Present were:  Chad Packer,  Chris Hockenberry, Philip Orndorf, Chad Entz, Willard Muthersbaugh, Gary Phillips,  Jack Muthersbaugh, Kenny Strouse, Michelle Entz,  Josh Araujo, Ryan Hockenberry, Rodney Brungart, Donald Pecht, Les Gordon, Harry Hockenberry and Jake Heverly.

 

Secretary’s Report:

 

Motion to approve secretary’s report made by, Willard Muthersbaugh, seconded by, Ryan Hockenberry.  Motion Carried.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

Chief:  “Thank you for wearing seat belts during calls.  On 7/21/07, Port Matilda needs Standby, 8/11/07 Pleasant Gap needs Engine Standby.

New flag pole has been installed with new flag.

Fundraising:  $3,164.99 from Townwide yard sale food sales.  Grange fair prizes were decided.  Motion to pay Bierly’s $.42 a pound to process Beef and Pork made by Ryan Hockenberry, seconded by Chad Entz, Motion Carried. 

Motion to also offer 2 Turkey and Ham Meals complete, made by Chad Entz and seconded by Chris Hockenberry, Motion Carried.

Motion to vote in Kelly Strouse as active passed unanimously.

September 23, 2007 is the Annual Fireman’s softball tournament with Alphas, Boalsburg, Pleasant Gap and Centre Hall at Hess Field.

 

July 26th Firefighter Appreciation night at Medlar Field.
