The pledge of allegiance was said before the start of the meeting.
The monthly meeting of the Centre Hall Fire Company was brought to order by President Kenny Strouse at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2007.
Members Present were: Chad Packer, Chris Hockenberry, Les Gordon, Harry Hockenberry, Philip Orndorf, Chad Entz, Willard Muthersbaugh, Gary Phillips, Jack Muthersbaugh, Kenny Strouse, Michelle Entz, Jackie Muthersbaugh, Gerald Korman, Davis Araujo, Alvin Spotts, Brandon Musser, Steven Crater, Jake Wenzinger, and Kelly Strouse.
Secretary’s Report:

Fire Tax: Funding is good. In July a single truck payment will be made. If any funds are lef, will pay on land. Have 4 sets of gear approved.

Carnival: Any donations need to be given to Harry Hockenberry. Chad Entz will be getting 3 donations for trophies, and kitty tractor pulls. Having difficulty raising money for fireworks.

Grants: New FEMA grant sent in for new tanker for $189,000. Toby Stoner working on Forestry Grant.

Softball game was a success. A lot of spectators were present.

Received thank you card from Kathy Burger for flowers sent when she was hospitalized.
Western PA Fireman’s Association is sponsoring a one day trip to the National Fallen Firefighter Memorial. Signup sheet available. $25.00 per person.
Centre Life Link is forming
a Wilderness Search & Rescue team to serve
