Monthly Meeting Minutes

The pledge of allegiance was said before the start of the meeting.

 

The monthly meeting of the Centre Hall Fire Company was brought to order by President Kenny Strouse at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 13, 2007.

 

Members Present were:  Chad Packer, Chris Hockenberry, Harry Hockenberry, Philip Orndorf, Chad Entz, Brian Long, Willard Muthersbaugh, Gary Phillips, Alvin Spotts, Jack Muthersbaugh, Kenny Strouse, Michelle Entz,  Josh Aroujo, Kim Bilbay,  Jackie Muthersbaugh, Gerald Korman, Brandy Stoner, Autumn Packer, Tim Packer, Jake Wenzinger, Rodney Brungart and Monty Strouse.

 

Secretary’s Report:

Amendment to January’s minutes, Gerald Korman was voted in for 2 year term as trustee.

 

Motion to approve secretary’s report made by, Willard Muthersbaugh seconded by, Harry Hockenberry.  Motion Carried.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

*Equipment markers have been installed.

 

Fire Police Report:  2 calls with Unknown Man hours.  

 

Trustee’s Report: 

 

The Floor and possibly the bathroom ceiling need some work done.  Need to get quotes for prices on kitchen tile and men’s bathroom tile.

 

The light in the men’s room has been fixed.

 

Committees:

Executive Committee:  N/A

Audit:  Audit was done and balanced.

Fire Tax: N/A

5-10 year Plan:  N/A

Building/Property: Brian Decker from Nittany Engineering has agreed to work with us at virtually no cost.

Interview:   N/A

Carnival:  Entertainment has been booked.  Harry will hand out letters for raffle requests.

Website: N/A.

Banquet: 71 signed up, 10 no response.  There will be no speaker this year.  Awards are on order.

Fundraising:  Hoagie Sale 15th – 17th of March.

Bi-Laws: N/A

Apparatus: N/A

Financial Committee:  N/A

 

Unfinished Business:  N/A

 

New Business:

 

County Request May 15th for Polling.  Approved.

Potter Township will pay insurance for May.

Money for Air packs will be brought up next month.

 

Good of the Company:

 

Still in hunt for a FEMA grant.

 

We have a new Junior member, Jake Wenzinger.
