Monthly Meeting Minutes

The pledge of allegiance was said before the start of the meeting.

 

The monthly meeting of the Centre Hall Fire Company was brought to order by President Kenny Strouse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 15, 2010.

 

Members present were: Chad Packer, Philip Orndorf, Brian Long, Kenny Strouse, Jack Muthersbaugh, Bill Rockey, Davis Araujo, Josh Araujo, Mike Dixon, Monty Strouse, Brian Tice, Jackie Muthersbaugh.

 

Secretary’s Report:

Motion to approve secretary’s report made by Brian Tice, seconded by Jackie Muthersbaugh  Motion Carried.

 

Treasurer’s Report:

May’s ending balance should read, $17,763.97

 

Beginning Balance: 13,980.19       Expenses:      1,820.61- Choice Mark-Mailings

Building/Property: Brian Long, Don Pecht, Kenny Strouse, Harry Hockenberry, Domer Smeltzer, Tim Packer and Monty Strouse.

Fundraising: All in the Company.- Town wide yard sale  (Hamburgers and Hot dogs to be sold at fire hall)

Grants: Dave Keller and Toby Stoner.

Gun Raffle: Bill Rockey, Bryan Packer, Bob Lair, Brian Tice, Phillip Orndorf. October 2nd.  Tickets are out to be sold.

Insurance Investigation: Don Pecht, Dave Keller, Davis Araujo, Paul Young,

Interview: Executive Officers, Trustees.

Mailing for Donations: Chad Packer, Toby Stoner, Chris Hockenberry, Jackie Muthersbaugh, and Chuck Solt.

Membership List: Jack Muthersbaugh, Brian Tice. Letters sent out to social members with 2 gun raffle tickets.

5-10 year Plan: Executive Officers, Chiefs, Trustees and Fire Police.

 

Motion made by Jackie Muthersbaugh to give the social members that bought gun raffle tickets a card this year, seconded by Brian Long.

 

Old Business:

All of Brandon’s gear has been turned in.

 

 

New Business:

Need to set up a new time of year to send out mailings to people.

 

Good of the Company:

Received a thank you card from Pack 20 for allowing them to use the firehall for their derby.

 

Motion to adjourn meeting made by Brian Tice seconded by Jackie Muthersbaugh.
