Monthly Meeting Minutes
The monthly meeting of the Centre Hall Fire Company was
brought to order by President Scott Floray at
Members Present: Steven Crater, Chad Entz, Scott Floray, Chris Hockenberry, Harry Hockenberry, Ryan Hockenberry, Dave Keller, Jack Muthersbaugh, Jackie Muthersbaugh, Willard Muthersbaugh, Philip Orndorf Jr., Autumn Packer, Bryan Packer, Don Pecht, Gary Phillips and Toby Stoner.
Motion to approve secretary’s report made by Chad Entz, seconded by Dave Keller. Motion approved.
Treasurer’s report as follows:
Beginning Balance $31136.23 Expenses Included:
Total Inflows $ 1757.30 Carnival Supplies $3905.21
Total Outflows $10655.06 JJ Powell- Fuel
for trucks $ 255.10

Motion to approve Treasurer’s report made by Jack Muthersbaugh Jr. seconded by Willard Muthersbaugh. Motion Carried.
Chief’s Report- Unavailable at the time of minute’s completion.
Fire Police Report- 3 Calls with 6 man-hours.
Trustees Report- There will be a company work day scheduled for Sunday October 8. 2005 starting 0800 hours.
Motion made by Ryan Hockenberry to buy driveway sealer for the rear driveway. Motion seconded by Jack Muthersbaugh. Motion Carried.
Committee Reports-
Fund Raising- The Motion to purchase a gift for the ladies who assisted in running the Grange Fair Chance Stand was made by Harry Hockeberry and seconded by Chris Hockenberry. Motion Carried.
Motion made to spend $100.00 for food to be sold at the Basket Bingo was made by Willard Muthersbaugh, seconded by Jack Muthersbaugh. Motion Carried. A reminder that Shrimp Feeds will resume on October 21st.
Funds Procurement- None
Grant- Shirt sizes are needed to purchase the Nomex shirts with the Grant monies received from DCNR. See Toby Stoner with your size.
Apparatus- None
Plaque- None
By-Law- None
Land/Building- The Option agreement is ready to be signed.
Unfinished – None
New Business- A $1000.00 donation was received from Wal-Mart. Motion to put this money will be put into a newly created account labeled “Land Fund” made by Brian Long and seconded by Jack Muthersbaugh. Motion Carried.
Motion made to spend $100.00 on soda for machine made by Jack Muthersbaugh Jr. and seconded by Willard Muthersbaugh. Motion Carried.
Good of the Company
Hydrant markers have been purchased by the Centre Hall Borough. It shall be the company’s responsibility to install them. Hydrants also need to be painted.
Fire Police are need for “Trick of Treat” night in the Borough to slow traffic.
