In preparation of yearly maintenance and improvement of our roads, brush cutting activities have commenced throughout Potter Township. In the past, the Public Works crews have trimmed the brush by hand, using more hours of labor and additional manpower. This year a boom-arm mower is being utilized for this maintenance activity. Residents will see a more prominent cutting of the brush and limbs than in past years. In certain areas, this has not been seen in many years. This work should allow the roads to dry quicker which, in turn will preserve the roads’ structure and therefore extend their useful life.
